Is it possible to pack a 10-day trip to Greece into one carry-on bag? Definitely. I’m the ultimate over-packer who usually travels with a large checked luggage AND a carry-on roller because I want to have everything and more when I’m abroad. But some trips are difficult with a lot of luggage. Especially island hopping in Greece, so I decided this would be a single carry-on trip. I used Veken Packing Cubes to guide me through the packing process – the cubes kept things organized while maximizing the space in my small carry-on bag. Below is my complete packing guide that includes how to use packing cubes, tips for saving space, luggage organization hacks and more.

10 days worth of outfits fit into my Veken Packing Cubes.
My favorite trips to pack for are warm weather adventures in Europe. Light linens, swimsuits and sundresses are always easy to pack, and a lot can fit into one bag. For this trip to Greece, I decided on a blue and white color palette for most of my pieces, as well as comfortable clothes for the hotel rooms and travel outfits for the plane and ferries. I was able to fit two dresses, three rompers, jean shorts, two pairs of linen shorts, three pairs of pants, pajamas, two swimsuits, joggers, three tops, two travel outfits, one mesh purse, two pairs of sandals and one pair of mules into the Veken Packing Cubes.
My wardrobe for the Greek islands – I went with a blue, white and neutral color palette.
Roll or fold? The ultimate question when it comes to packing. My recommendation? A little of both. I like to maximize the space of every packing cube, which usually means folding one item to the exact dimensions of the cube, and then placing all other items on top tightly rolled. And then I fill any extra space along the edges with something small – swimsuits are great for plugging gaps. All of my shoes went into the Veken shoe bag, and the Veken toiletry bag perfect for hair products, makeup, etc.
Packing cubes make packing a little less stressful.
A set of Veken Packing Cubes comes with three cubes for clothing in a variety of sizes, one cube for undergarments, one shoe bag, a laundry bag, a toiletry bag and an accessory bag. The clothing cubes fit perfectly into a carry-on sized bag, and then I sandwich the shoe bag, folded laundry bag and toiletry bag into the middle. For larger checked luggage rollers, I suggest ordering two to three sets of packing cubes.
The bags are all labeled with different clothing garment icons.
The packing cubes fit nicely into hotel dresser drawers.
